Applications open for Crack 2010

If you’re reading this, it means that you, like the Crack Theatre Festival, are ALIVE IN 2010! It’s true, the festival has not been murdered in an alley by street toughs, nor poisoned by political rivals in a deadly game of cat and mouse. That being so, the festival will take place this year from Thursday 30 September – Monday 4 October in Newcastle, and if you’re interested in being involved, TELL US NOW.

We’re accepting proposals for performances, panels, workshops, artist talks and OTHER*. If you’re the conductor of a talented church choir, a backyard handyman with some great tips to share or an unaffiliated medical practitioner looking for a place to lay low for a while, download an application form from the Crack website and get amongst it!

Dates announced for Crack Theatre Festival 2010

Congratulations to all those artists, audiences and fellow travelers who attended the launch of the Crack Theatre Festival in 2009; 1. It was amazing, and 2. No-one got killed.*

Now, your kindly hosts David Finnigan and Gillian Schwab are very pleased to announce the dates for the festival in 2010: Thursday 30 September – Monday 4 October. Write it in your diaries with a leaky red pen and smear the ink with your thumb. NO EXCUSES. IF YOU DON’T ATTEND YOU CAN STILL GRADUATE BUT YOU CAN’T COME TO THE FORMAL.
